Visit https://whatsie.chat/ and download the Deb or RPM package for Whatsie application.
Once installed, go to the downloads folder and click it to install Whatsie via Ubuntu Software. Users can also run the following command in Terminal to install Whatsie:
sudo dpkg -i ~/Downloads/whatsie*.deb; sudo apt -f install
You can also simply run the following command:
gpg --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-keys 1537994D
gpg --export --armor 1537994D | sudo apt-key add -
echo "deb https://dl.bintray.com/aluxian/deb stable main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt install whatsie
Linux Ubuntu users can use package manager to remove Whatsie or run sudo apt-get remove whatsie in Terminal. Also delete this folder: ~/.config/whatsappfordesktop.
