How to install Twitter Client Choqok 1.5 on Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04. Twitter Client Choqok 1.5 is an open source instant messaging client (Twitter) for Linux Ubuntu systems.

Twitter Client Choqok allows to use multiple Twitter accounts simultaneously. Users can reply, send, retweet and receive Twitter messages, automatic shortening support of URLs, and work on many other userful features.

The latest version, Choqok 1.5, comes with a new option to disable the system tray. It now have a plugin for Pump.io microblogs, plugin for expansion of short URLs. The images posted to Twitter.com can be previewed.

Install Twitter Client Choqok 1.5 in Ubuntu Systems

Let us see how to install Twitter Client Choqok 1.5 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint and other Ubuntu derivative systems. Open Terminal and run the following commands to install Twitter Client Choqok 1.5 in Ubuntu systems via PPA:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:adilson/experimental
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install choqok

To uninstall and remove the Twitter Client Choqok 1.5 from Ubuntu systems, run:

sudo apt-get remove choqok
