Install/Upgrade Inkscape in Ubuntu Systems
Inkscape 0.91 can be installed via official PPA. It can be installed/upgraded on Ubuntu 12.04, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 15.04, and Linux Mint 17/17.1 systems. Open terminal and run the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:inkscape.dev/stable
After that open Software Update App, search and install the updates. You can see the Inkscape software update in the list.
If not, run the following commands to install/upgrade Inkscape via terminal:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install inkscape
