How to install Midnight Commander 4.8.14 in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04 and Derivatives. Midnight Commander is a visual file manager for Linux Ubuntu systems.
The Midnight Commander 4.8.14 visual file manager comes with a full-screen text mode application. It allows to copy, move and delete files and whole directory trees on a Ubuntu System. It can be also be used to search for files and run commands in the subshell. The application also includes Internal viewer and editor.
Midnight Commander is based on versatile text interfaces, such as Ncurses or S-Lang, which allows it to work on a regular console, inside an X Window terminal, over SSH connections and all kinds of remote shells.

Install Midnight Commander 4.8.14 on Ubuntu
Open Terminal and run the following commands to install Midnight Commander 4.8.14 in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04 and Derivatives:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:eugenesan/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mc
Once installed, start and open the Midnight Commander via Ubuntu Dash.
To uninstall and remove Midnight Commander file manager from Ubuntu Systems, run the following command:
sudo apt-get remove mc
