Install Linphone 3.8.4 on Ubuntu
The Linphone VoIP Software can be installed on Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04 and Derivatives. The Linphone can be downloaded and installed via third party PPA on Ubuntu. Open Terminal and run the following commands to install Linphone VoIP Software:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:linphone/release
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install linphone
If you wish to uninstall and remove the Linphone run the following command:
$ sudo apt-get install linphone
