Indicator Netspeed Unity

Netspeed Unity Indicator is a powerful Ubuntu Panel indicator that displays the active Internet speed, current upload/download speed on the unity panel.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Indicator Netspeed Unity in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04 ,Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:fixnix/netspeed
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-netspeed-unity

Copyq Indicator – Clipboard Manager

CopyQ is a clipboard manager for Linux Ubuntu Systems. CopyQ supports searchable and editable history (support for image formats and command line control). It comes with command and graphical interface that can be easily accessed from tray.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fossfreedom/indicator-sysmonitor
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-sysmonitor

Keylock Indicator

Keylock Indicator is an extremely useful indicator for old laptops and PCs which doesn’t have Num/Caps/Scroll leds. For such system, Keylock Indicator works an alternative for the keyboard leds to indicate that Num/Caps/Scroll keys are turned on/off.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jwigley/window-list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install window-list

Tomboy Notes Indicator

Tomboy Notes is a desktop note application for Linux PCs. Tomboy Notes let you take and organise notes.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Tomboy Notes in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo apt-get install tomboy

Brightness Indicator

Brightness indicator is a simple Ubuntu indicator that lets you to control laptop/PC screen display brightness from the indicator.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Brightness Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-brightness/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-brightness

Recent Notification Indicator

The Recent Notifications indicator displays the most recent notifications (NotifyOSD) for Linux Ubuntu systems. The indicator allows to copy the Notification text or link. Users can also click on the notification’s link to open it.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Recent Notification Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives. Once installed, you will need to restart the system or logout and Login back.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/indicators
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-notifications

Calendar Indicator

If you love Google Calendar, you will surely love Calendar indicator. The Calendar indicator is linked with Google Calendar and can be used to access the Google account calendar. Once logged in, the Calendar indicator can be used to work directly on the Google Calendar.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Calendar Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install calendar-indicator

Classic Menu Indicator

The latest versions of Ubuntu, the classic-style Menu is no longer in use. The Classic Menu Indicator is a wonderful panle indicator for Ubuntu’s Unity desktop. It provides a classic GNOME-style application menu for Unity.
