Open Terminal and run the following commands to download and extract the LibreOffice 4.4.5 archive and finally install the LibreOffice 4.4.5 software.

$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb
Uninstall LibreOffice 4.4.5 From Ubuntu and Debian
If you wish to uninstall and remove LibreOffice 4.4.5 from Ubuntu and Debian Systems, run the command given below:
$ sudo apt-get remove libreoffice*
LibreOffice 4.4.5 is immediately available for download from the following link: http://www.libreoffice.org/download/.
