Uget Download Manager (Linux Ubuntu PPA). Install Uget 2.0.1 Download Manager on Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 14.10.
Uget 2.0.1, the latest release of the Download Manager is available for all Linux Ubuntu Systems, via PPA. uGet is an open-source download manager for Linux systems. It is automatically integrated with Mozilla Firefox and comes with many powerful features.

Install Uget on Ubuntu
To install uGet download manager on Ubuntu Systems, run the following commands one by one. The commands will add the PPA to your system and install the uGet packages:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:plushuang-tw/uget-stable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install uget
Install via the Ubuntu Software Centre
Please note that uGet 2.0 is not available in the Ubuntu Software Center for any version because it was released after the package freeze for 15.04. THe company is trying to get it in the Ubuntu Software Center for 15.10 though. 1.10.4 is available in the USC for all versions 14.04 – 15.04 but for uGet 2.0 please use the PPA or a DEB package.
1. Open the Ubuntu Software Center and search for uget
2. Click the Install button.
If you wish to uninstall and remove uGet download manager, run the command given below:
$ sudo apt-get remove uget
