Xtreme Download Manager (XDMAN) for Ubuntu Systems. Install XDMAN Download Manager on Ubuntu 15.04 and Ubuntu 14.04. Xtreme Download Manager is a java based download manager which increases download speed up-to 500%, save videos from video sharing sites and can be integrated with any browser.
The Xtreme Download Manager has pause and resume features, can schedule downloads and supports HTTP, HTTPS and FTP protocols.
Xtreme Download Manager (XDMAN) 5.0 is the latest version available that can be downloaded and installed on Ubuntu Systems, via PPA. To install XDMAN 5.0, open Terminal and run the following commands:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install xdman
