Install FrostWire Bittorrent Client for Ubuntu
You can download .DEB and RPM packages to install FrostWire on Linux Ubuntu and Ubuntu Derivatives. Visit http://www.frostwire.com/downloads and download the necessary package. You can also download FrostWire via Ubuntu Software Center. Open Software Center and search for FrostWire and click to install it.
To download and install FrostWire via CLI/Terminal, run the following commands in Terminal:
$ sudo apt-get install gdebi
$ wget dl.frostwire.com/frostwire/5.7.7/frostwire-5.7.7.all.deb
$ sudo gdebi frostwire-5.7.7.all.deb
Once installed, open FrostWire via Ubuntu Dash.
If you aren’t happy with FrostWire, you can uninstall and remove the FrostWire by running the following command:
$ sudo apt-get remove frostwire
