Install latest release of Vivaldi browser, Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.3 on Linux Ubuntu Systems. The Vivaldi Snapshot can be installed via DEB and RPM packages on Linux Ubuntu Systems. Install the latest version of Vivaldi on Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04 and Derivatives.
Install Vivaldi Sbapshot Using DEB Packages
On 32 bit systems:
$ wget https://vivaldi.com/download/download.php?f=vivaldi-snapshot_1.0.303.32-1_i386.deb -O vivaldi-snapshot_i386.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i vivaldi-snapshot_i386.deb
On 64 bit systems:
$ wget https://vivaldi.com/download/download.php?f=vivaldi-snapshot_1.0.303.32-1_amd64.deb -O vivaldi-snapshot_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i vivaldi-snapshot_amd64.deb
Install Vivaldi Sbapshot Using RPM Packages
Open Terminal and run the following commands to install Vivaldi Snapshot on 32 bit systems (using RPM packages):
On 32 bit systems:
$ wget https://vivaldi.com/download/download.php?f=vivaldi-snapshot-1.0.303.32-1.i386.rpm -O vivaldi-snapshot.i386.rpm
$ sudo rpm -i vivaldi-snapshot.i386.rpm
On 64 bit systems:
$ wget https://vivaldi.com/download/download.php?f=vivaldi-snapshot-1.0.303.32-1.x86_64.rpm -O vivaldi-snapshot.x86_64.rpm
$ sudo rpm -i vivaldi-snapshot.x86_64.rpm
Once installed, you can open the Vivaldi web browser from Ubuntu Dash. (screenshot below)
