Mozilla Firefox 45 has been released with various new features and fixes. Some of the most prominent features released with the latest version are:
- Instant browser tab sharing through Hello
- Tabs synced via Firefox Accounts from other devices are now shown in dropdown area of Awesome Bar when searching
- Synced Tabs button in button bar
- Introduce a new preference (network.dns.blockDotOnion) to allow blocking .onion at the DNS level
- Guarani [gn] locale added

You can also upgrade to the latest Mozilla Firefox 45 from Ubuntu Software Update tool. Open the Software Updater tool from Ubuntu Dash and look for all the available updates. If you aren’t able to see the Mozilla Firefox 45 in the update list, change the settings:
- Launch Software & Updates and do:
- Select “Main Sever” under “Download from” drop-box
- Check “important security updates” and “recommended updates” in Updates tab
Now relaunch the Software Updater tool and you shall be able to see the Firefox web browser upgrade option.
