Install Plank Dock on Ubuntu Systems, via PPA

Plank Dock for Ubuntu. Install Plank Dock on Ubuntu. Terminal commands to install Plank Dock and Plank-Themer on Ubuntu and Linux Mint Systems, via PPA.

Install Plank on Ubuntu

plank-dock-ubuntu

Run the following commands to download and install Plank on Ubuntu 15.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10 and Ubuntu Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:docky-core/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install plank

Once installed, open the Plank Dock via Ubuntu Dash or Menu.

You can also install Plank-Themer (themes) in Ubuntu or Linux Mint Systems, via the following command:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install plank-themer
cd /tmp/ && ./Replace.sh;cd

If you wish to uninstall and remove the Plank Dock from Ubuntu Systems, run the command:

sudo apt-get remove plank
