Install Qmmp 1.0.7 on Ubuntu
Run the following commands in Terminal to install Qmmp 1.0.7 (Winamp-like music player) on Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 15.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 15.04 and Ubuntu 14.10, via PPA:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:forkotov02/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install qmmp qmmp-plugin-pack
Once installed, open the Qmmp music player from Ubuntu Dash.
If you aren’t happy with the Qmmp player, you can uninstall and remove Qmmp player by executing the following command:
$ sudo apt-get remove qmmp qmmp-plugin-pack
