Using the application, Ubuntu users can easily switch in-between list of workspaces, apps and unity sessions. It brings various features such as:
- middle-click on indicator calls dialog for saving current launcher as a profile
- hovering over indicator icon and scrolling up switched lists backwards, scrolling down – switches forward
- Extras menu allows changing indicator icon, toggling label on-off, toggling launcher visibility (auto-hide) on-off, and clearing the launcher completely for building up new list
Install Launcher List Indicator on Ubuntu
The latest version of the Launcher List Indicator is released with the following options:
- Save current
- Remove entry
- Toggle visibility
- Toggle label
- Clear launcher
- Toggle workspace switcher
- Change icon
Open Terminal and run the following commands in Terminal to install the latest release of Launcher List Indicator:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:launcher-list-indicator/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install launcher-list-indicator
Once installed, open the Launcher List Indicator from Ubuntu Dash.
As soon as the Launcher List Indicator icon is visible in Ubuntu Panel Bar, save a launcher list using Save Current option.
