Install NoNotifications Ubuntu Indicator on Ubuntu 16.10 and Ubuntu 16.04 and customize Ubuntu Desktop notification. nonotifs (NoNotifications)indicator for Ubuntu temporarily suppress notifications of notify-osd (notify-send).
The latest version of NoNotifications indicator brings an option that allows to only suppress notifications containing specific stings. This can be very useful when you wish to disable notifications from certain sources or application. Another feature brings option to store the notifications missed, provided the “Don’t disturb” mode is enabled. All such notifications are stored in ~/.config/nonotifs_prefs/notificationlogs directory. Other changes include the ability to to suppress the notifications sound, always show notifications on statup and enable or disable to run NoNotifications on startup.
Install NoNotifications (NoNotifs) in Ubuntu
NoNotifications indicator is available in a PPA. To add the PPA and install the indicator in Ubuntu, use the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:vlijm/nonotifs
sudo apt update
sudo apt install nonotifs
Once installed, open the NoNotifications from Ubuntu Dash.
