Install Vivaldi Web Browser 2.5 on Ubuntu Linux

Vivaldi Browser 2.5 has been released with Razer Chroma Integration. Install Vivaldi Web Browser 2.5 on Linux Ubuntu. For Vivaldi 2.5 web browser Chromium has been upgraded Chromium to 74.0.3729.134.

Razer Chroma is the world’s largest lighting ecosystem for gaming devices. With this unique integration, users can enjoy a thrilling and immersive browsing experience with lighting effects on Chroma-enabled devices. The team also added more customization options in this update where you can adjust the size of Speed Dials and select tabs more easily.

If you are a gamer, you can experience your Chroma-enabled devices natively integrated with the websites you visit, syncing in real-time.

To unlock this dynamic browser immersion, simply head to Settings > Themes.

Towards the bottom of the main Themes settings page, you can tick the box to “Enable Chroma” and pick which devices should be synced. The lights will now adapt to the color of the site you are browsing with Vivaldi. This integration is fully compatible with a PC running Windows.

Install Vivaldi Browser 2.5

On 32-Bit Systems

Run the following commands to install Vivaldi Browser 2.5 on 32-Bit Systems

sudo wget https://downloads.vivaldi.com/stable/vivaldi-stable_2.5.1525.40-1_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i ~/Downloads/vivaldi-stable_2.5*.deb

On 64-Bit Systems

Run the following commands to install Vivaldi Browser 2.5 on 64-Bit Systems

sudo wget https://downloads.vivaldi.com/stable/vivaldi-stable_2.5.1525.40-1_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i ~/Downloads/vivaldi-stable_2.5*.deb

Once installed, open Vivaldi browser from Ubuntu Dash.
