Ubuntu 25.04 ‘Plucky Puffin’ is now available to download. Ubuntu 25.04 marks a significant advancement, powered by the new Linux 6.14 kernel. It includes the GNOME 48 desktop environment with HDR support and enhanced Wayland functionality, along with Mesa 25.0 graphics drivers, which provide excellent support for AMD RDNA4 and Intel Xe2 Battlemage.
Additionally, it features Python 3.13 and a broad array of other package updates accumulated since the release of Ubuntu 24.10 last October.
