Notify OSD Configuration is a GUI tool to configure how Ubuntu’s notify-osd notification system looks and operates. This application can customize the colours, fonts, and size of various elements of the Ubuntu’s notification bubbles. The time they stay can also be adjusted.
Run the following commands to install Leolik’s patched NotifyOSD via PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:leolik/leolik
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install libnotify-bin
pkill notify-osd
Run the following commands in Terminal to install NotifyOSD Config (using WebUpd8 PPA):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
sudo apt update
sudo apt install notifyosdconfig
Once installed, open the Notify OSD Configuration from Ubuntu Dash.
