Install GnuCash 2.6.14 On Ubuntu
Open Terminal and run the following commands to install GnuCash 2.6.14 on Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04 and other Ubuntu Derivatives:
wget https://sourceforge.net/projects/gnucash/files/gnucash%20%28stable%29/2.6.14/gnucash-2.6.14.tar.gz/download
tar xvf gnucash-2.6.14.tar.gz
cd gnucash-2.6.14
./configure
make
make install
Once installed, open GnuCash from Ubuntu Dash or Terminal.
