Know the Asus Zenfone Zoom’s full phone specifications and features. Asus Zenfone Zoom (released at CES 2015) is the world’s “thinnest smartphone with a 3X optical zoom camera.” The Asus Zenfone Zoom will go on sale in Q2 2015 and is expected to priced at $399 (approximately Rs 25,500).
The most important feature of the Asus Zenfone Zoom is its camera. It features a 13 MP rear camera (4128 x 3096 pixels) with laser autofocus and 3x optical zoom. It also comes with manual controls, optical image stabilization, dual LED flash (dual tone), Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and video functions (1080p@30fps).
Zenfone Zoom’s rear camera features a 10-element lens design with up to a 12X digital zoom. It gives a brilliant close-up detail images with its advance optical image stabilizer (OIS) combined with laser auto-focus for shake-free photos. The 13 MP rear camera is capable of shooting macro photos with a minimum subject-distnace of 5cm. It is also packed with an advance Low-Light Mode, which can click up to 400 percent brighter photos even in the dark or low-light conditions.
Advanced users will appreciate the flexibility of ZenFone Zoom’s Manual mode, which allows professional-grade manual control of ISO settings, shutter speed and more. ZenFone Zoom also features a 5-megapixel front camera for selfie lovers.
The other specifications include a a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p x 1920 pixels (~401 ppi pixel density), and runs on Zen UI (Android 5.0 Lollipop). The smartphone is powered by an Intel Atom Z3580 Quad-core 2.3 GHz CPU with 2/4GB RAM. It is packed with a non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery.
