Download MuPDF for Ubuntu. . Ubuntu MuPDF Package is a very Lightweight PDF viewer software for Linux Ubuntu Systems.
MuPDF is also small, fast, and yet complete. It supports PDF 1.7 with transparency, encryption, hyperlinks, annotations, searching and more. It also reads XPS and OpenXPS documents. MuPDF is written modularly, so features can be added on by integrators if they so desire. Since the 1.2 release of MuPDF, it supports interactive features such as form filling, javascript and transitions.
Install MuPDF PDF Viewer Software on Ubuntu
Open Terminal and run the following commands to add the PPA and install MuPDF on Linux Ubuntu Systems:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/apps
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mupdf mupdf-tools
Once installed, you can open PDF or XPS file via MuPDF. Select the file and right-click menu and select “Open With” option.
To know its keyboard shortcuts, run command man mupdf in Terminal.
