Simple Image Resizer : Batch Resize Multiple Images on Linux Ubuntu Systems

Batch resize multiple images on Linux Ubuntu Systems, via Simple Image Resizer (SIR) 3.0. Install Ubuntu image resizer application (Simple Image Resizer 3.0) on Ubuntu 15.10, Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 14.10. Simple Image Resizer (SIR) is a powerful open source application for batch resizing, rotating and converting images and photos on Linux Ubuntu Systems. Users can also edit and re-touch images using the Simple Image Resizer app. The Simple Image Resizer 3.0 supports all kinds of image file formats including JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, XPM, PGM, PBM and PPM and RAW.

Simple Image Resizer 3.0 is the latest version of the image resizer application. Simple Image Resizer 3.0 brings a revamped UI with an additional Raw tab into main window and basic view tab for user frendly Raw configuration.

Install Simple Image Resizer 3.0 on Ubuntu

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Ubuntu image resizer application (Simple Image Resizer 3.0) on Ubuntu 15.10, Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 14.10 and Ubuntu Derivatives:

$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:dhor/myway
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install sir

Once installed, open the Simple Image Resizer 3.0 app from Ubuntu Dash or Menu.

If you want to uninstall and remove the Simple Image Resizer 3.0 from Ubuntu Systems, run the command given below:

$ sudo apt-get remove sir
