Install qBittorrent BitTorrent Client On Ubuntu 16.04

qBittorrent 3.3.5 for Linux Ubuntu Systems. Install qBittorrent BitTorrent Client on Ubuntu 16.04 Systems. The qBittorrent BitTorrent Client is a powerful alternative to µTorrent. qBittorrent is a powerful BitTorrent Client supports torrents queueing and prioritizing and simultaneous search in most famous BitTorrent search sites.

qBittorrent supports all Bittorrent extensions such as DHT, Peer Exchange, Full encryption and Magnet/BitComet URIs. The app can easily be remote controled through a Web user interface and also supports advanced control over trackers, peers and torrents.

qBittorrent 3.3.5 brings various new feature. Most prominent being Torrent management mode and ability to display notifications. Other features are:

Install qBittorrent on Ubuntu

Run the following commands to install qBittorrent on Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 15.10 and Ubuntu 14.10 Systems.

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install qbittorrent

Once installed, open the qbittorrent from Ubuntu Dash or Terminal.

If you wish to uninstall and remove qbittorrent from Linux Ubuntu Systems, run the command:

$ sudo apt-get remove qbittorrent
