Download and install Canta theme on Ubuntu Linux. Canta is a flat Material Design theme for GTK 3, GTK 2 and Gnome-Shell etc.
The Canta theme comes in the following version:
- Canta: Dark Headerbar Version
- Canta-Compact: Dark Headerbar Laptop Version
- Canta-Dark: Full Dark Version
- Canta-Dark-Compact: Full Dark Laptop Version
- Canta-Light: Full Light Version
- Canta-Light-Compact: Full Light Laptop Version

Please note that Canta theme requires GTK2 engine Murrine 0.98.1.1 or later and GTK2 pixbuf engine or the gtk(2)-engines package. To install these you may run the following command:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install gtk2-engines-murrine gtk2-engines-pixbuf
Also note that Canta icon theme use numix-icon-theme-circle icon theme for Inherits, so if you want a better experience you should install numix-circle first numix-icon-theme-circle : https://github.com/numixproject/numix-icon-theme-circle
To install Numix Circle icon theme from its PPA, run the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:numix/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo apt install numix-icon-theme-circle
