Install LibreOffice 5.0.0 RC3 on OpenSUSE, Mageia & OpenMandriva

LibreOffice office suite for Linux OpenSUSE and Mageia and OpenMandriva. Download and install LibreOffice 5.0.0 RC3 on OpenSUSE and Mageia and OpenMandriva Systems.

LibreOffice 5.0 RC3 has been released and is the biggest LibreOffice releases yet. It brings Emoji and in-word replacement support, enhanced image editing features, word-compatible text highlighting, DOC file improvements, enhanced table management, image drag and drop support and document previews.

Install LibreOffice 5.0 on 32 Bit OpenSUSE

Run the following commands in Terminal to install LibreOffice 5.0 on 32 Bit OpenSUSE systems:


$ wget http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/testing/5.0.0/rpm/x86/LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86_rpm.tar.gz
$ tar -xzvf LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86_rpm.tar.gz
$ cd LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86_rpm/RPMS
$ sudo zypper install *.rpm

Install LibreOffice 5.0 on 64 Bit OpenSUSE

Run the following commands in Terminal to install LibreOffice 5.0 on 64 Bit OpenSUSE systems:


$ wget http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/testing/5.0.0/rpm/x86_64/LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz
$ tar -xzvf LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz
$ cd LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm/RPMS
$ sudo zypper install *.rpm

Uninstall LibreOffice 5.0 From OpenSUSE

Run the following commands in Terminal to uninstall and remove LibreOffice 5.0 from OpenSUSE systems:


$ sudo zypper remove libreoffice

Install LibreOffice 5.0 on 32 Bit Mageia and OpenMandriva

Run the following commands in Terminal to install LibreOffice 5.0 on 32 Bit Mageia and OpenMandriva systems:


$ wget http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/testing/5.0.0/rpm/x86/LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86_rpm.tar.gz
$ tar -xzvf LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86_rpm.tar.gz
$ cd LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86_rpm/RPMS
$ sudo urpmi *.rpm

Install LibreOffice 5.0 on 64 Bit Mageia and OpenMandriva

Run the following commands in Terminal to install LibreOffice 5.0 on 64 Bit Mageia and OpenMandriva systems:


$ wget http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/testing/5.0.0/rpm/x86_64/LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz
$ tar -xzvf LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz
$ cd LibreOffice_5.0.0.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm/RPMS
$ sudo urpmi *.rpm

Uninstall LibreOffice 5.0 on 64 Bit Mageia and OpenMandriva

Run the following commands in Terminal to uninstall and remove LibreOffice 5.0 from Mageia and OpenMandriva systems:

$ sudo urpme libreoffice
