Install Qogir GTK theme on Ubuntu Linux. Qogir is a flat Design theme for Ubuntu Linux.

Qogir is a flat Design theme for GTK 3, GTK 2 and Gnome-Shell which supports GTK 3 and GTK 2 based desktop environments like Gnome, Unity, Budgie, Cinnamon Pantheon, XFCE, Mate, etc. It is based on Arc gtk theme.

Supported desktops:

1. Gnome > 3.20
2. Unity
3. Budgie
4. Pantheon (Elementary default desktop)
5. Xfce 4.12 – 4.14
6. Cinnamon
7. Mate
8. Lxde
9. Kde Plasma

The Qogir GTK theme comes in 7 variants, including Avengers special theme:

1. Qogir-win-light.tar.xz
2. Qogir-win-dark.tar.xz
3. Qogir-win.tar.xz
4. Qogir-light.tar.xz
5. Qogir-dark.tar.xz
6. Qogir.tar.xz
7. Qogir-Avengers.tar.xz

Install Oogir Theme

GTK2 engines requirment

  • GTK2 engine Murrine 0.98.1.1 or later.
  • GTK2 pixbuf engine or the gtk(2)-engines package.

On Ubuntu/Mint/Debian distros:

sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine gtk2-engines-pixbuf

GTK+ 3.20 or later

  • Set windows button on gnome for a better experience.

Gnome ≥ 3.22:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout appmenu:minimize,maximize,close
