Create HDR images on Linux Ubuntu Systems. Install Luminance HDR on Ubuntu. Luminance HDR is a graphical user interface (based on the Qt5 toolkit) that provides a complete workflow for HDR imaging.

Luminance HDR 2.5.1 is the latest stable release. Luminance HDR 2.5.1 is a bugfixing release with some minor enhancements. All issues related to highlights clipping and artifacts when creating HDRs have been addressed and fixed for all profiles.

Install Luminance HDR
Run the following commands in Terminal to install Luminance HDR 2.5.1 on Ubuntu Systems:
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dhor/myway
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt install luminance-hdr
Once installed, open the Luminance app from Ubuntu Dash.
