Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.257.3 comes with a visual tab cycler and better cookie management features. Install Vivaldi web browser on Ubuntu 15.04 and Ubuntu 14.04.
Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.257.3 features:
New Tab Cycler – The latest release features a new tab cycler. It allows user to see and know which tab will appear next, when cycling through many tabs using the keyboard (Ctrl+Tab). A tab cycler displays the list of tabs in the same order as page title and a thumbnail. To enable it, open “Settings (Preferences on Mac)” and navigate to “Tabs → Tab Cycling → Cycle Tabs Visually”.
Better cookie management – Users can now view and delete individual cookies. Previously the cookie management section in “Settings ” > “Privacy > Cookie Control > Cookies” only gave a count of cookies by domain, with simple options to delete them all.
Install Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.257.3
Run the following commands in Terminal to install Vivaldi Snapshot on 32/64 bit Ubuntu systems, using deb packages:
On 32 bit Systems
$ wget https://vivaldi.com/download/download.php?f=vivaldi-snapshot_1.0.257.3-1_i386.deb -O vivaldi-snapshot_i386.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i vivaldi-snapshot_1.0.257.3-1_i386.deb
On 64 bit Systems
$ wget https://vivaldi.com/download/download.php?f=vivaldi-snapshot_1.0.257.3-1_amd64.deb -O vivaldi-snapshot_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i vivaldi-snapshot_1.0.257.3-1_amd64.deb
Once installed, you can open the Vivaldi web browser from Ubuntu Dash. (screenshot below)
