Install Oranchelo Icon Theme on Ubuntu 16.04. Oranchelo Icon is a flat icon theme for Ubuntu 16.04 and other Linux Ubuntu Derivatives.
Oranchelo Icon Theme is a package of icons created with the design techniques “flat” and “Flat Long Shadow”. The icon uses “super-flat-remix” package as the base and is inspired by ” Cornie icons ” of Patryk Goworowski .
Install Oranchelo Icon Theme on Ubuntu
You can install the theme on Ubuntu Systems, using Terminal. Run the following commands in Terminal to install the theme:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oranchelo/oranchelo-icon-theme
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oranchelo-icon-theme
You can also download equivalent .deb for 14.04 Trusty Tahr or 16.04 Xenial Xerus.
Use Oranchelo Icon Theme on Ubuntu
Once installed, the Oranchelo icon theme can be used on Ubuntu Systems. To use the downloaded Oranchelo Icon Theme on Ubuntu:
- Extract or move the theme to usr/share//themes directory. For security reasons, Themes folder is restricted to use. Luckily, you can also create a folder in your Home directory (name it .theme) and extract the zip archive (downloaded theme) there.
- Use the theme via Ubuntu Tweak Tool. Open Ubuntu Tweak Tool and go to the Tweaks tab, and select the Theme option. Choose the theme you wish to use from the list.
