How To Install Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.8 On Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, & Derivatives

Customize the Ubuntu UNITY Desktop Environment using the Ubuntu Tweak Tool. How to Install Ubuntu Tweak Tool 0.8.8 on Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 12.04

Ubuntu Tweak is a powerful configuration/customization tool for Ubuntu systems. It allows to customize Ubuntu systems and manage GTK+ themes, icons, layout, kernels and many others.

Install Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.8 On Ubuntu

To install Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.8 on Ubuntu systems, run the following command in Terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

To start Ubuntu Tweak Tool, open the Unity Dash and type “ubuntu tweak.”

If you want to uninstall the Ubuntu Tweak Tool 0.8.8 from Ubuntu systems:

sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-tweak
