Run the following commands in Terminal to install Viber 6.0.1 on Ubuntu 16.04 and Linux Mint Systems:
wget http://download.cdn.viber.com/cdn/desktop/Linux/viber.deb
sudo dpkg -i --force-depends viber.deb
If dpkg shows missing dependencies error message, run the following command:
sudo apt-get install -f
Once Viber is installed, please restart the system and open Viber from Ubuntu Dash or Terminal.
