How to Get Android Notifications on Linux GNOME Desktop

Nuntius Linux and Nuntius Android delivers and show Android notifications (from your phone or tablet) to Linux system/computer.

Nuntius is an Open Source project from HolyLobster. To use Nuntius you will need to install a companion tool on your computer and pair your phone via Bluetooth. The ‘Nuntius’ app released for GNOME 3.16, will also work over Bluetooth/WiFi.

Both the Nuntius Android Application and the GNOME Application are free to download and are available on Github. The Nutius Android Application can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. The Nuntius linux application is available in Fedora.

Once installed, user is required to enable notification permission from:

1. “Settings > Security > Notification access”
2. “Settings > Sound & notification > Notification access”.
