Sticky Notes Indicator

Indicator Sticky Notes is a unseful note taking app indicator. It can be used to note important tasks and to-do things. You can also customize StickyNotes, background color and text color.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Sticky Notes Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:umang/indicator-stickynotes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-stickynotes

Touchpad Indicator

Touchpad Indicator is a very useful Panel Indicator which can be used to enable/disable laptop’s touchpad.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Touchpad Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install touchpad-indicator

My-Weather indicator is a popular weather widget for Ubuntu. It displays the current weather and the weather forecast.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install My-Weather Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install my-weather-indicator

Privacy Indicator

Privacy Indicator is a notification area applet (application indicator) for the top panel of Ubuntu’s Unity desktop environment.

The goal of Privacy Indicator is to make it easy it change settings that influence the user’s privacy or the automatic collection of data and to delete automatically collected data.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Privacy Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:diesch/testing
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-privacy

Caffeine Indicator

Caffeine indicator enables user to temporary disable screensaver and to disable/enable sleep mode. Users can disable or eanble screensaver permanently or temporarily.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Caffeine Indciator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:caffeine-developers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install caffeine

PushBullet Indicator

An indicator for PushBullet app. PushBullet is used to send addresses, files, links, lists, and notes to the attached devices from Linux PCs.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install PushBullet Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pushbullet-indicator

Reminder Indicator

Reminder Indicator is an indicator app that allows you to schedule reminders. A reminder can be configured to show a notification, play a sound, and/or run a command. Indicator Remindor has a powerful scheduling feature that allows you to schedule reminders to repeat every day, every monday, every 30 days, etc. They can also be set to repeat minutely or hourly.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Reminder Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bhdouglass/indicator-remindor
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-remindor

You can also install QT version of Remindor indicator using following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bhdouglass/indicator-remindor
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install remindor-qt

Multi-Load Indicator

Multi-Load indicator displays information about the system and its resources.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Multi-Load Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-multiload/stable-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-multiload

Virtualbox Indicator

VirtualBox indicator is a powerful appindicator which can be used to launch VirtualBox machines without opening VirtualBox. The indicator works with both VirtualBox and VirtualBox-OSE.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install VirtualBox Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:thebernmeister/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-virtual-box

Psensor Indicator

Psensor application Indicator is providing a quick access to sensor values and settings. When a sensor temperature is too much hot, a desktop notification bubble appears and the Application Indicator icon is changed to a red one.

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Psensor Indicator in Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Linux Mint and Derivatives:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/indicators
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install psensor lm-sensors hddtemp
sudo sensors-detect
