Install Gradio 7.0 Internet Radio Player On Linux Ubuntu

Install Gradio 7.0 on Ubuntu. Gradio is an Internet radio player for Linux Ubuntu, a GTK3 app for finding and listening to internet radio stations.

Gradio 7.0 New Features:

  • The “Discover” section is back!
  • Merged “Add” and “Search” page
  • New unified library view
  • Library can now be exported as M3U playlist

Gradio 7.0 Improvements

  • New first launch experience
  • Connection to the database is now encrypted
  • Collections can now be renamed
  • Stations can now be removed from collections
  • Redesigned selection toolbar
  • Redesigned application menu
  • Redesigned collections popover
  • Some performance and memory usage improvements

Install Gradio 7.0 on Ubuntu

Users can install Gradio 7.0 on Ubuntu and Ubuntu Derivatives using flatpak or snap:

Using Flatpak


sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
sudo flatpak install flathub de.haeckerfelix.gradio

Using Snap


sudo apt-get update
sudo snap install gradio
sudo snap install gnome-3-26-1604
sudo snap connect gradio:gnome-3-26-1604 gnome-3-26-1604

Once installed, open Gradio app from Ubuntu Dash.
