Install or Upgrade Opera 28 Web Browser on Ubuntu Systems

How to install Opera 28 Web Browser on Ubuntu Systems. Upgrade to the latest release – Opera 28., if you have a previous Opera release installed.

Opera 28 is available for download. Opera Stable 28 is available as Opera for computers, Opera Mini for iOS and Opera for Android smartphones.

The latest Opera browser version (Opera 28) features bookmark synchronization on all devices – across computers, phones and tablets. Opera 28 brings a better integration with Mac OS. “Vibrancy” of the address field and improved Mac fullscreen mode have been added.

Install or Upgrade Opera in Ubuntu Systems

Please note that if you have an previous Opera release installed, the Opera Stable Repository will be added on your system. Navigate to Software & Updates > Other Software tab to access the repository. Now you can upgrade Opera through Software Updater.
